With its perfect climate (an average 80-degrees every day of the year!), Cabo San Lucas sports some the most amazing activities anywhere in the world. Whether it's on or in the sapphire water or the golden beaches, you'll find something to fill your time away from the Casa. And don't forget the food and nightlife!

On and In the Water

  • Sport Fishing - Next to golf, fishing is the biggest activity in the Cabo area. Spend the day trolling for trophy marlin or catch great tasting tuna and dorado aboard dozens of local charter boats.
  • Scuba Diving - Cabo is recognized as a world class dive destination, offering all types of dive experiences: shallow to deep, night to wreck dives.
  • Swimming and Snorkeling - Words fall short of descibing the colorful aquatic life and the experience of being in warm, clear water. Underwater visibility in the summer is quite good, often reaching 60 to 80 feet. Best self-guided at Playa Bahai Chileno or at Playa Santa Maria.
  • Watercraft - From gorgeous yachts to jet skiing, parasailing, kayaking and sunset cruises, you'll find plenty of ways to enjoy yourself on the waves.
  • Surfing - Cabo attracts surfers from all over the world because of its winter and summer wave action. The area around Cabo offers well-known surfing spots and many so-called "secret" spots only locals are aware of. However, seasoned surfers will intuitively find "the spots".

On the Beaches and Mountains

  • Golf - Golf is king in the Cabo area, with spectacular courses waiting to challenge your skills! Cabo del Sol: a brand new 18-hole course featuring several beautiful and challenging oceanfront holes.
  • Beaches - Cabo San Lucas has many beautiful beaches both in town and away from town. Playa El Medano, or "Dune Beach" as it translates, is perhaps the most popular "in-town" beach in Cabo. El Medano runs several miles along the Bay of San Lucas from Hotel Hacienda beyond Club Cascadas and is perhaps the safest beach for swimming and other water recreation. There are Palapa bars and restaurants along the beach and plenty of vendors, so you can sun and shop at the same time.
  • Horseback riding / Hiking - Ride across the sand on your steed at sunset or hike the mountain trails. What could be better?
  • Tours and excursions - ATV tours through the town of Cabo out to the spectacular sand dunes and lighthouse point, city tours, off road tours and day trips: activities when you want something different.

Dining and nightlife

  • Dining out - "Mi Casa" features genuine mexican cuisine and a fun atmosphere under the stars. "Da Giorgios" features great Italian cuisine and stunning views of Cabo and land's end. "The Office" tables are located right on the white sands of Cabo's resort beach. With great meals and strong drinks, this is a must visit restaurant while in the area! "Rafael's", "The Shrimp Bucket", "Carlos & Charlies" and the downtown taco stands are also suggestions.
  • Nightlife - For those who like to party, Cabo has something for everyone. Clubs, bars and late-night dining will keep you up until the sun comes out. At least one night on the town is a must for everyone who visits Cabo! Let your hair down, throw down a shooter or two or just sit back and watch the crowds.
  • Gringos Party! - In Cabo, make sure your night out includes visits to "The Giggling Marlin", "Cabo Wabo" and the all-time favorite, "El Squid Roe". A walk through town will lead you to a place that is just right for you!
